Crab using sea anemones as boxing gloves
An intriguing symbiotic relationship between boxing crabs and sea anemones has been observed, where boxing crabs use sea anemones as a weapon. This partnership benefits the sea anemone by increasing feeding opportunities, and benefits the crab by helping protect it with its venom. But if the crab loses one of their sea anemons, it will rip the other one in half to regain the other glove. This causes the sea anemone to asexually reproduce, and cloning itself. This is the first time the process of cloning has been observed.
